Exclusive Cruises

I have been working with daddy today, updating our website with some fantastic theme cruises.

We have temporarily reduced the price of the totally exclusive FoggyCruise - http://www.foggycruise.co.uk/
and we have put details of a selection of 'Music & Laughter' themed cruises, in association with Fred Olsen Cruise lines.

I have got daddy to load details of these great cruises onto the website, and we will be loading full details over the next few days. In the meantime, call daddy FREE for more details of these cruises, departing between January and April 2012.

I think that we should organise a cruise with Spongebob or Mickey Mouse, but daddy said that we would cruise with NCL or Disney when i am older as they are already aboard, so i agreed to let him put these cruises onto the system. (As you have probably guessed, Mummy is boss, then me, and daddy does as he is told.)

Guests will be treated to entertainment from, The Osmonds, the Upbeat Beetles, Abba Magic, Robert Habemann, Don Reid and many more. Visit http://cruisingexpert.co.uk/music-and-laughter-2012.aspx, or call daddy FREE on 0800 6123 203 for more details.

Night night everybody..

6 Myths of Cruise Pricing - Part 2

I have been talking with daddy today, and have got the final three myths for you...

They are well worth a read, especially 4 & 5, as my daddy will will talk through your needs and build the perfect cruise for you, without you having to lift a finger...

Myth #4: You Can Book the Best Deals by Doing It Yourself
Doing it yourself is almost a guarantee that you'll pay too much.  You may get lucky and find some deals but without industry knowledge you may not have enough information to compare prices to find out if it is truly the best bang for your buck.  Pricing is easy to compare, but the value of each offer isn't as obvious

Myth #5: Ticket Price is Everything
The price of your cruise ticket is only one expense to consider.  There are government and destination taxes and fees, air fare, transfers, cocktails, pre- or post- night stays, tips and gratuities, wine, optional restaurants and activities, shore excursions and more to factor into the equation.  Some cruise lines include some of these elements into their cruise fare, creating a much better value for a seemingly higher fare.  Be sure you fully understand all the costs associated with your cruise package and don't be swayed by shiny offers and deals.

Myth #6: All Cruises are Equal
While a cruise ship may seem to have a fairly standard layout, you'd be surprised at all the differences between cruise lines and their fleet.  Some are geared toward a specific age group or interest.  Some are considered luxury lines while others may be more family friendly.  Your Personal Cruise Expert (Daddy again...) can assist you in finding the best fit for you.

I think you will agree, that you are better off speaking to my daddy, and letting him use his knowledge and experience, than taking a chance and doing it yourself. The internet can tell you everything you need to know, but only if you know which sites to trust, so why not call my daddy, have a chat and let him do the work for you, while you enjoy a cup of tea and choccy biccy..

6 Myths of Cruise Pricing - Part 1

Daddy was telling me today that there are 6 myths about cruise pricing, and i am going to share these with you now...

Myth #1: Last Minute Means Greater Savings
Once upon a time when last minute cruises were a good deal. Now, if you wait until the last minute to book you cruise, you will often pay a much higher rate for your cruise fare and have the least selection to choose from for accommodations.  Some destinations, like Alaska, are often sold out months to a year in advance. To secure preferred accommodations at the best price----book early!

Myth #2: Lowest Prices Equal Value
This is simply not true. Price is not the only element to consider when looking at value.  With cruising, the lowest price often means the least desirable destinations and the worst accommodations. You must also concider that the lowest price cruise might not suite your requirements or personality. Consult your Personal Cruise Expert (my daddy...) on how to secure the best value for your cruise.

Myth #3: Shorter Cruises are CheaperIt's not unusual for a four day Caribbean cruise to be less expensive than a three day. This is because three-day itineraries usually operate over the weekend and four-days are mid-week.  This can mean fewer guests and better prices. The same is true for longer itineraries. Pricing is based on demand.  When demand is low, so are the prices.

Daddy said he will share the other three myths with me tomorrow, since mummy got bored of listening, and said that was enough for one day...

I have been giving daddy some advice on web design, and he has spent the last two days working on my advice, to see what he has managed to achieve, under my watchful gaze, have a look at the fantastic new pages he has created, and share them with all you friends...

It's me... I'm back...

Hi everybody, sorry I have not blogged for a couple of days, but my daddy has been away at the Cruise Holidays UK cruise convention in Stratford Upon Avon, and has only just got home to help me out.

He has asked me to thank the head office team for organising a great event, and again thank Mark Schiffler for travelling all the way from North America to give some great advice and support.

I will be getting daddy to help me looking for some cruise news or tips to share with you all tomorrow, but right now, for any Osmonds fans among you, we have details of a great cruise where you will be able to meet three of the boys, and see them preform for you. Check back tomorrow for more details.

Night night...

Wierd Fact Wednesday

Today I would like to share with you some of the weird facts I have learnt...

As we look forward to the upcoming 2012 London Olympics, a bit of London Olympic history: at the 1908 Olympic Games in London, the first runner to enter the stadium at the end of the marathon event was Italian athlete Dorando Pietri. Unfortunately for Dorando, he was so fatigued and disorientated as he entered the arena that he promptly headed the wrong way around the track. Officials pointed him in the correct direction. However, the Italian collapsed; he rose again but fell to the floor time and time again. Fearful that Pietri may actually die in front of the Queen, officials carried the Italian over the line. This supposedly helpful act resulted in Pietri's disqualification, and the USA's John Hayes was subsequently awarded the gold
Wales may be famous for many things - beautiful mountains, a dragon-bearing flag and Charlotte Church, to name but three. They can chalk up one more achievement and add it to the list: The Welsh hold the record for the number of people dressed up as Smurfs at any one time - 2,510, in 2009.
The longest word in the English language has 189,819 letters, Methionylthreonylthreonylglutaminylarginyl...isoleucine is the chemical name of the largest known protein titin. Lexicographers have argued however that chemical compounds should not count. The largest non-technical word is antidisestablishmentarianism, with a mere 28 letters.
More importantly... Baby facts...
Babies are always born with blue eyes, within a few moments of delivery their eye color can change
Babies and toddlers are, pound for pound, stronger than oxen. This is especially true of their legs.
Babies are born without kneecaps
Reading to your child at ANY age will increase their knowledge.
Bearing in mind the above fact, i think i need to get mummy and daddy reading to me...  Nighty night..

Company Meetings At Sea

My daddy mentioned an unusual idea today, holding a company meeting at sea. Be it sales or product training, a yearly meeting or an executive get-together, cruise ships can offer a superior experience, and sensational value.

Cruise holidays uses the perfect 1-2-3 approach to help create the perfect experience for you and your group. With itineraries generally ranging from 3 to 14-nights you will go to places you've only heard of, see sights you have only dreamed of, and be treated to a memorable cruise experience.

Cruise ships can offer everything you need, they are floating conference centres equipped with everything you need to host an unforgettable event. Cruise ships come complete with Internet access, video conferencing, state of the art audio-visual equipment, and have meeting and breakout rooms which make it a perfect venue to host your CRUISE-VENTIONSSM.

The following are usually included in your cruise quotation:
  • Accommodations
  • All Meals
  • Meeting Facilities
  • Services of an On site Meeting Coordinator
  • Fantastic Entertainment & Full Casino
  • A World of Shipboard Activities
  • Exciting Itineraries with Multiple Ports of Call
With prices ranging from well under £100pppn, including all of the above, even a baby like me can see that it offers sensational value for money.

Call us FREE today on 0800 6123 203, email alex@cruisingexpert.co.uk or visit http://www.cruisingexpert.co.uk/

Think about it... You'd be daft not to see the value, anyway, that's me done for another day, night night..

Why would you cruise?

More to the point, why would you not?

The average age for cruise passengers is falling all the time, OK, I can't go on a cruise without mummy and daddy, but, even taking us kids out of the equation, the average age is still dropping.

With the comfortable accommodation, superb food, non-stop entertainment, fun and adventurous programs throughout your cruise, and the opportunity to visit different ports, countries and cultures, all in one holiday, without the hassle of packing and unpacking each night, how could you not want to cruise?

One of the best parts is that your cruise is Full-Board, and in some cases, All-Inclusive!! However, the best part of all is the fact that us kids can go to play in our own dedicated areas, with trained staff and themes appropriate to our age-groups and get rid of you adults for the day...  I mean, why would I be interested in stage shows, gyms, bars, casino's, shopping, relaxing at the spa or salon, or any of the other adult stuff that you love??

With cruising consistently receiving the highest customer satisfaction ratings in the whole travel industry, you can count on an experience that will delight you and your group in every aspect of your holiday. In fact, today's ships leave nothing to chance which is why cruises are the fastest growing vacation and meetings segment in the entire travel industry.

Anyway, mummy wants the computer back now, so i have to sign off.. night night..
